Electronic calendars allow you accessibility on multiple devices and provide accessibility for later retrieval of information. That information can make you a more productive sales professional.
In the last post, I discussed the advantages of paper calendars. They are back in vogue and have many advantages. If a paper calendar works best for you, fantastic! There are several name brand providers of paper calendars to choose from.
Stop using paper calendars for two reasons
First, if you lose the physical calendar… you are up the proverbial creek with no paddle.
A saying which makes no sense to me, by the way, because if you are up the creek, the current will carry you back down. A good walking still will allow you navigate… but I digress.
The second reason I stopped using paper calendars is that retrieving information from past years was a chore and limited to my access to past-year calendars. Which brings us to the topic of this post:

Electronic calendars are available in Windows, MAC and a variety of apps. The first advantage of the best electronic calendars is that you can access them from anywhere.
They are stored on the web. If your smartphone or laptop is lost, you can still access your calendar from another electronic device without skipping a beat.
If you have ever lost your paper calendar, which I have, this advantage is huge.
The second advantage is that you can look up past information easily. You don’t need to find a physical calendar book from a previous year.
More important, you can use the search function to find the information you need.
